Worst printer i have ever owned.
I bought the Lexmark x63 from AOL almost 2 years ago when the printer first came out. This model was one of Lexmark's first attempts in entering the all-in-one market. At the time, the x63 boasted great quality printing, scanning, and copying with a fax machine for under $200.

You can use it with XP and network it also!
I received this as a gift.
The way I got it to work was to install a PCI USB 2.0 card in my computer and attach it to that port. I also use the latest driver and have had no problems since I made these changes!

Good Buy, not picture worthy but good all in one
I have been happy with my printer; I got it in July and have had no problems with it. The color is good but it doesn't print great pictures. XP Users Beware!
I can't go into what a pain this printer is. Originally I used Lexmark products with a Win 98 and had no problems but as soon as I bought a new computer with XP my printer DIED.
Ignore all the messages Lexmark leaves about their products working fine with XP because they DON'T.

Avoid at all costs
We thought the Lexmark X63 would be a good value. We paid about $150 when we bought it. It could send faxes from plain paper, and receive faxes on plain paper, it could scan, had OCR software, and was a color printer. 18 months later we regret it.

The X63 Ink Problem
This is a good machine, when it works. It has problems recognizing the black ink cartridge. When changing the black ink, the message "Add Right Cart." appears.
