MY RANGEFINDER WILL NOT RANGE PAST 482 YARDS NO MATTER WHAT I TRY TO RANGE. I DO NOT GET THE SAME RANGE READOUT TWO TIMES IN A ROW EVEN IF I DON'T MOVE. I GET NO RANGE READOUT AT ALL 70% OF THE TIME. If you want features, this is the best
I need direction along with distance to various objects, the RX IV was the only one with this compass capability along with the option to read out in feet rather than just yards or meters. I suggest that you think long and hard before purchasing this product. Do your Internet homework. I failed to do mine, paid over retail, and now I am stuck with a very high priced toy that is of little use. The manual does not even help you with the item.
