Pros Nice graphics for the GBC era. Looks good on the GBA
Cons was built with the limitations of the GBC in mind. Sticks out of the GBA

I only got this game recently so I have not had time to finish it. But I have found it very enjoyable and definately worth the 10 dollars I paid for it used at Gamestop. It works great on my Gameboy Advance SP. Using the upper right and left buttons you can either have it at its original size or... Read full review »

Thank You Nintendo For Backwards Compatibility!

First and foremost I must thank the Nintendo, specifically the design engineers for making the Gameboy Advance compatible with all the older Gameboy games. Without it, I might have had to choose between some of the older gems like Final... Read full review »

Best Game Boy Color game ever.

Pros Inventive link/password feature.
Cons Too similar to Zelda 1.
Recommended it? Yes

This masterpiece of a game was the first Zelda game I ever played. I find that rather weird, since this game is, sadly, pretty much a shameless rip of Zelda 1 for the NES. The bosses are pretty much the same (Aquamentus, Dodongo, Digdogger, Manhandla, etc.), the dungeons are the same (Gnarled root... Read full review »

You are Link, shipwrecked on beautiful Koholint Island,to wake up with beautiful Princess Zelda merely inches away from your face. But it's only Marin and her father, Tarin, simple villagers on the uncharted isle of Koholint. So begins The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Deluxe. Your quest... Read full review »

This is a classic with a bonus. This is the original game for gameboy, but they have added a secret dungeun. This game has some amazing gameplay and can keep you up for hours. The con for this game, as it is with most gameboy color games, is its graphics. It also has many parts where it is dark,... Read full review »

The Legend of Zelda has been one of the most enduring and popular franchises in the history of gaming. The affable Link in his green hat has made countless appearances on every Nintendo system in existence, so it comes as no surprise that the requiem played for the Game Boy Color by Nintendo would... ZELDA: Oracle of Seasons (Nintendo/Capcom, May 2001)

Before I start this review, I must admit that I am just a tad biased. I got this game from my friend. And in doing so I was not able to retrieve the manual. So, I had to play from my friends old game. Hence, I did not get to play the game in earnest. In light of that, let the review begin.

Although its no Ocarina of time it's got it's advantages with rings that power up the user and codes for linking over to another oracle game, it's even got three animals that help you throughout the game which is very usefull when you cant swim up a waterfall or jump over a hole in the ground... Pros Link to Oracle of Ages, Rings
Cons Pretty much the same as Link's Awakening.

I usually love Zelda games. However, this game and it's relative, Oracle of Ages, are just about the same as Link's Awakening. Same gameplay, graphics, music, enemies, bosses...come on now! There were some good things though. Passwords, rings, and the such. However, when you get all the secrets,... Read full review »

Pros Great story line and idea behind it.
Cons It is a waste to put this game on a game boy.

Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is a great game. The storyline is great, and there are new things to find and explore all the time. My only complaint is that it is on gameboy.
