Labyrinth [VHS]
A Jim Henson film starring David Bowie as The Goblin King in this entertaining fantasy. Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) in a fit of rage wishes that her baby brother would be taken away by goblins. When she realizes that her wish has come teue she vows to rescue him. She must get the Goblin King's Castle and face the mighty Jareth but before she can do that she needs to find her way through the Labyrinth that stands between them, an unending, magically mesmerizing world of mazes, mystery and spells. Along the way she encounters all sorts of tricky, delightfully mischievous creatures that lurk around each corner of the Labyrinth. Great imagination and lots of fun. Bowie is surprisingly good as the Goblin King.
