The modern laptop computer is slowly altering the fabric of our culture. With a laptop sporting wi-fi connectability, and a broadband internet stream going through a decent router, the laptop can be used anywhere in the house, and sometimes outdoors, to get the internet. I predict that soon the... Read full review »

Pros Image quality, works fine with internal memory or memory card.
Cons customer support, wireless connection, very awkward configuration process
Recommended it? No

When I purchased this frame, I thought I would be able to sit at my computer and just transfer images to the frame. Wrong! Instead, you have to create photo playlists in Windows Media Player 11.(not 10 or earlier) Images are not WMP's forte. There is no thumbnail preview so you are compiling a list... Read full review »

Recently I decided it was time to get a digital picture frame. I wanted a frame so I could load it up with the thousands of digital pictures I've taken over the years then have them rotate in my office during the day for my casual viewing pleasure.

Unfortunately there are not alot of... Read full review »

I bought this frame for my parents, with the hope that they could have it on their wireless network and see photos that my siblings and I uploaded to the on-line Kodak Picture Galley. I wasn't interested in using a memory card or viewing pictures off my network.

I found connecting to my... Read full review »

Over the years our family has been taking pictures with our digital cameras & storing them on our computer. When we saw the wireless photo frame from Kodak, it seemed the perfect device to hang on the wall, display all our pictures from our desktop computer. We were wrong. First of all, the... The convenience of a portable computer is apparent to many students and professionals. The library can be an obvious place to get a lot of research or schoolwork done, especially if you have your laptop with you. The biggest problem I find is when I have to walk away from my laptop. Its portable... Read full review »

I am a professional photographer, and was looking or something to put on my desk to show a continuous slideshow of my work. After holding off on buying a digital frame for years, I thought the EX1011 would be just what I was looking for.

Pros Looks nice, and the display is high quality.
Cons Forget the wireless bit.

I also thought the concept of a wireless picture frame a great idea, since I have over 10,000 pictures on various hard drives and computers in my home - some Macs and some PCs. Why hassle with copying files to memory cards when you can use your network ?

The included EasyShare software... Read full review »

I bought my EX1011 just before Christmas, and really haven't had the problems all the other reviewers have had. Apparently Kodak has read and responded to a lot of the bad reviews. My EX1011 came with 2 different manuals, one on using the frame in general, and the other on setting up the wireless... Read full review »

Every so often you see comments from a bunch of techno-biffs and you have to set the record straight...

Right, first, go and download and install latest firmware from kodak, I have v2007.10.09.

Next, I do agree with all the abuse about the restriction of having to use WMP11 / XP... Read full review »
