poor blender
I got a L'Equip blender to make things like thick smoothies (with frozen berries), pesto, etc. It doesn't handle that type of stuff. Also, it's big, heavy, noisy, and the lid is hard to take off. I returned it.

Blends well but construction not great
Purchased and used about 3 months.
Blended well, tackled ice and whole peeled oranges well.
I was pretty happy with it about three months until the blade became off-center on the drive screw.
I'm not sure how this happened since I assume the hole in the blade should be only a bit...

Very poor performance!
We have had to send back our "blender" as they will not hold up under heavy use! The motor burns up!
Now the new one we have has also gone bad! And we cant locate the company for a replacement!
I believe they went out of business.
If anyone knows where we could find this company...

I hate this blender.
I bought this blender b/c it was given a good rating by Men's Health Magazine. It looked cool in the pictures and I thought it would be real heavy duty.
