I bought this toaster because I assumed that the Kitchen-Aid brand would work flawlessly, especially for the price you pay...

Toasts more than bread.
My experience has been favorable so far.I bought because of the heavy duty plastic material and the extra buttons. Adjust according to type of bread. White toasts faster so use a lower setting.
