Consistent coffee, Easy, clean
Loud, takes up counter space
The Bottom Line:
If you love coffee and don't have time to fuss, get a Keurig home brewer.
I've had Keurig brewers at work for probably the last ten years and I recommended them everywhere. We were an early adopter. I've always loved the coffee. I bought the B40 for home and I love it. I spent years trying to figure out the best way to make a good consistent cup of coffee at home (bags, drip, press) and I could never get it right. This is a great home solution for me. I waited to get a home brewer because it was hard to get the K-Cups at a good price. Now that they are available everywhere and some places allow you to buy mixed boxes, it was a no brainer. I like being able to buy a couple cups to try a new flavor. One thing that I do not like about the B40 (don't know about other home units) is that the water pump is quite loud. This model also does not have temperature adjustments, but I think it is probably important that the water be a certain temperature to brew properly. One thing I wish it had was an option to plumb it in (like some water filters). Filling the tank after every fourth cup isn't so bad, though.
