Fast lifestyles require quick but healthy snacks to keep us going without losing momentum. The Trail Mix flavor Kashi TLC Chewy Granola Bars meet my family's health and taste requirements.
Each 1.2 ounce bar in this 6pack contains 14o calories, 5 gm fat, 0gm cholesterol, 105mg , 20gm carbs (includes 4gm fiber and 6gm sugar), 6gm protein. There is also 6% of your iron daily requirements. There are no added vitamins or minerals.
Like all Kashi TLC Chewy Granola Bars, the Trail Mix variety starts with the Kashi seven whole grain and sesame blend. To that they add only natural ingredients like whole almonds, raisins, cranberries, sunflower seeds,and honey, along with other pure ingredients: brown rice syrup, evaporated cane juice and crystals, soy protein, soy grits, chicory rootbeer, vegetable glycerin, corn flour, rice starch, canola oil, oat fiber, salt, natural flavors, molasses, soy lecithin, peanut flour, whey and color. Nothing artificial, no trans-fat, all good.
Sometimes the bars can have more or less fruit which will affect the taste but I rarely get a bar I don't want to finish. This is my husband's favorite flavor. He wishes it included chocolate chips to taste more like his homemade trail mix but he says he's happy with the flavor. He travels and these help make sure he's always ready to go.
