KitchenAid KFPW760 12 Cup Food Processor
The kitchen at our place is our playground. We love to cook, to bake and to create wonderful, edible experiments. When you play hard with your toys, sometimes they need fixing or replacing. My food processor finally got past the point of being fixable at a reasonable cost. I decided it was time to... Read full review »
Powerful, quiet and looks good too!
KitchenAid KFPW760 12 Cups Food Processor
Design:
The simple three button design really works well into my design theme in my house. The buttons are large and easy to clean. They are thin film buttons like you will find on my appliances where water or wet hands are around. A downside to...

A rare find - a small kitchen appliance that actually delivers
Background
First I have to make a confession. I gave up on "food processors" after a a rather middling experience with a Braun Kitchen Machine many years ago. While that machine was a reliable workhorse, it was only good for making cat food (!) and little else. I'm pretty handy with a chef's...

The KFPW760 - my trusty aid in the kitchen
I have owned the KFPW760 for almost a year, and by this point I can't imagine living without it. Over the past year I have made all of the following in it: pizza dough, pie crusts, salad dressing, falafel, coleslaw, veggie burgers, and an assortment of dips and spreads. It's also excellent for... Read full review »
Great Machine!
I have owned this machine for about a week now and have only used it twice, but so far so GREAT!
First Try

It Slices It Dices
In 1976 I purchased a Sunbeam Processor. I enjoyed it but eventually plastic disc parts became unavailable. In 1988 I upgraded to a Cuisinart DLC7 which had more capacity but a quirky offset blade drive that made the machine wobble and walk. The biggest... Read full review »
Outstanding machine, one flaw
I bought this to replace a 25-year-old Cuisinart (bought when Cuisinart was its own company). Friends had always commented on how noisy their machines were compared to my Cuisinart so I decided to make quietness, power, and a large feed tube my top criteria, plus a hope for the same durability as... Bobbi of Illinois
Love my standing mixer so decided to give the Food Processor a try. My Cuisinart was over 25 years old and need a new one.
My first few uses were great. Made potato pancakes in less than a minute. Shredding and slicing disks worked like a charm. Now after only 3 months, the disk holder is...

Great Machine; Terrible design flaw with disks and spindle
High quality machine. However, when using the disks, they can shred the plastic cover on the bowl and shred sharp plastic shards into the food. Mine did just that and the disk shaft got stuck on the motor spindle. It was impossible to remove rendering the machine useless. I called KitchenAid... Read full review »
works wonderfully
This food processor is really effective - it purees, dices, slices, etc. really quickly and thoroughly. It can be a pain to clean though because of the small parts. Read full review »
