Ok, but I'd spend the money and move up
The machine does a decent job grinding and is quiet. But getting the coffee out is a chore and what mess due to static cling. I had more coffee on me and the counter than in the pot. I had received this coffee grinder as a gift, so was somewhat reluctant to write a review until I was thoroughly disgusted. Clean your kitchen after every use.
Wow... another reviewer mentioned the static cling/mess created by this grinder... and another referenced the mess. They weren't kidding. trade up!
After using this machine for 4 months it suddenly seized up. The static in the mechanism apparently causes the ground coffee to stick through the inner workings of the machine. Even the manufacturer's suggestion to tap the machine after grinding to reduce static didn't prevent this problem.
