JS63C - The last Deere I'll ever buy
I bought the JS63C in 2003 for $540 in upstate NY. I was looking for a more powerful replacement for my ancient but dependable Snapper. While the power was there, the neatness / evenness of the cut was not. The casters are good for maneuverability, but the resulting cut while turning is ragged. The... Read full review »
Bad Service
I purchased this mower in february of 2007 to get ready for the season. I had to exchange this mower twice and currently it is in the shop being repaired. After not hearing from the service center in 6 days, I called them to discover they had not even punched my info into their computer yet. I have... Read full review »
My "Deere John" Letter
I got this mower from my Dad when he moved out of our old homestead. I was stoked to have the John Deere logo on something and eagerly gave away my old Yardman mower.
I have two major complaints about the mower. It's heavy and it clogs easily with the least bit of moisture. I live in Ohio...

JX75 Has had some serious reliability/durability weaknesses
Read these reviews carefully!! People who recently bought a mower are delighted. Those who have run it long enough to have problems are severely disappointed. The mower is overrated for that reason.
I had that exact same experience. Delighted for the first year or two, now increasingly...

INITIAL PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP DWINDLES INTO DEEP DISSATISFACTION
Initially I was very proud to own the JX75, 5 speed, self propelled, Kawasaki pressure oil fed engine, large catcher, light weight, mulching capability, prestige John Deere brand name, this mower had it all !
But sadly after only 3 months the problems began, first thing to go was the...

John Deere JS 63 - A Cut Above The Rest
I was driving through our city in Plattsmouth, NE. and saw this mower on the side of the road with a "for sale" sign next to it, I went home called the number and found out it was a John Deere mower. I quickly went down to the man's house and purchased the mower not knowing anything about it. I... Read full review »
Good and Bad (some tips too)
OK. I've been running the JS63c (21in) for about 4 years now. In that time the biggest problem has been (Oh... I've had a lot of biggest problems.) The plastic wheels suck. The sleeve bearing separates from the wheel and you have to replace the wheel at $25 each. Getting mower parts through JD is a... Read full review »
2 Year Review
2 years ago I shelled out over $900 on a John Deere JX75 and through away my $200 mower. I cannot explain my disappointment. The JX75 doesn't do a bad job. It does the job that my $200 mower did and NO better. Furthermore, the JX75 is a bit heavier, even with an aluminum deck, which means it tends... Read full review »
Mower is a problem waiting to happen
After 4 years of using my mower, I noticed a metallic sounding noise when starting my mower. After taking it to my local John Deere Repair Center, they stated the mowers crankshaft had broken as a result of a product defect, as they have had similar problems with the JS63H. The only way to fix it... Read full review »
2004 JX75
I am also a proud owner of a GT235. I bought it brand new in May of 2003, and it now has about 1060 hours on it. One day when I was out at the JD dealer and I saw that some one had traded in the 30" tiller for the GT235. I asked the dealer if he would let me rent it so that I could try it out. He...
