Finally some subs I didn't blow.
For the last 3 years I have been through more sub woofers than I can even remember. I always get the extended warranty(due to speakers are subjected to so much abuse),you never know how long one will last. Great for the money, but sound quality is disappointing
I just bought one 10W0 the other day from a friend who had it for two months. It's contained in a JL Audio Powerwedge box and powered by a JL Audio 300/2 amp.

My 10W0 came in JLAudio's PowerWedge enclosure specifically designed for the 10W0, hence the $169. It's powered by my MRV-100M Alpine amp and produces excellent clean, tight bass. Great quality for price
These were the very first pair of subwoofers I put in my car. I was blown away by the quality of these speakers. these subs hit and i mean they hit. though this is not for my taste i did enjoy the pounding and the inevitable ringing in my ears that followed. i had these in my firebird and at times it was hard to breathe. these subs dont require much space or power so they are good for people with limited... I recently had 2 JL 8" subs which I blew from underpowering them. This time I boosted up the power 3x and got a Power Acoustik 520 Gothic series amp. Sealed Thunder!
I bought the JL power wedge with 2 10' JL W0's for my Firebird. This is a great item if you have very little space but want a big sound.
