A Palm handheld with color!
The Palm t/x is a versatile handheld device that allows you to browse the web, downlaod apps via the internet or Palm store, and condust daily business on a regular basis. This is one of Palm's faster units at 312mb and it has internal storage, and and expansion slot for added storage or... Read full review »
Palm TX
Worked right out of the box. Had it connected to our home 802.11b WiFi network in less than a minute and was surfing the web from all over the house. The controls are fairly intuitive. The unit is light, but still feels sturdy. The screen is clear and easy to read. I actually prefer Windows... Read full review »
GREAT! Easy to use and Durable! Still working!
I love this palm. I actually purchase it significantly used but it still works even though I use it an average of 2 hours a day for web browsing and email. I can watch videos and even though its a few years old, it still works great! Read full review »
Okay but did not really work for me
I got this PDA when I was in college a few years ago. I bought it for several reasons. The first was that I wanted something to use for organizing my schedule and schoolwork, and to take notes on. The second was that I was hoping to use it to read ebooks. The third was that I wanted a way to browse... Read full review »
Three-Fourths Perfect
I got this in December for myself for a christmas present, however I've had NOTHING, BUT TROUBLE with it.
The good is that the 480x320 screen is nice, colors are vibrant and beautiful, and the unit's structure is quite nice to hold in one's hand. Combined with bluetooth and Especially...

Great Device. Be Wary of System Crashes and Screen Freezes
I have been using my Palm T/X for over 3 years and love it a lot. I must tell you that I have experienced frequent crashes and screen freezes. I hate when the screen freezes and won't respond to the stylus and I have to reboot. I don't know if it is because I have a few 3rd party applications... Read full review »
First Impressions: Not Perfect, But Still Impressive
I've owned a Palm Vx since shortly after they first came out, which was probably about 7 years ago. I've used it off and on up until just recently, and even today with its grayscale screen and 8MB of memory it's still a solid little PDA that gets the job done.
Still, I knew it was time to...

The Palm Tx : A Great Ebook Reader
My main use of the Tx has been as an ebook reader and audio book player using the 'Documents to Go', acrobat reader, and the 'Pocket Tunes' (MP3 player application) which come with the Tx. These 3 applications are the most usefull apps(best) which come with the Tx. I normally convert my non-pdf... Read full review »
It's a document reader, and that's it
When I was in college I was a big fan of the Sony CLIE (2001-2003). The PDA broke and I decided to get a Palm TX last summer to replace it.
I'm focusing on practical usability here. I'll address the features and how they work in real life
1. Bluetooth
- Great in theory, but...

The device I didn't know that I would like so much!
I had never used a PDA before, I was always of the opinion that they seemed like a neat device but what did I really need one for since I work at the computer all day and have a laptop at home. Anyway, my birthday was coming around and I saw the Palm TX for a great price and decided to take the... Read full review »
Very Best PDA / GPS Navigator
I just love my PDA. I used to have a Palm V and this is like driving a sports car. The amount memory available with the internal memory and SD cards, I have over 2 Gbs.
I love the palm GPS navigator 5 that uses the Tom Tom software. I love being able to pin point how long a 40 mile drive...

Will Palm Top the TX?
Palm is known for creating user-friendly hand held devices, and they haven't let us down this time.
The Palm TX is both innovative and easy to use, encompassing several features that its predecessors didn't have. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability it is perfect for the professional on the go,...

Palm T/X is NOT good
I've owned my Palm T/X for about 8 months. I keep thinking I'll get to like it, but I must say that this is one of the biggest pieces of crap I have ever owned. I am at a loss as to why Palm is recommended. Previously I owned a succession of Windows-based handhelds, the last one being an HP ipaq... Read full review »
A great piece of Technology!

It's not perfect, but it is the best palm I've owned.
I don't consider myself as a novice or beginner when it comes to Palms. I've owned a Palm Pilot, Palm III, Sony Clie TJ27, Zire 31,Zire 72s, and The Palm T/X. Hands down the T/X is the best offering from Palm to date, but it's not without flaws.

Is the palm still relevant ?
Overview
The Palm T|X is the top of the line hand held personal data assistant manufactured by Palm. It is the most advanced of the traditional Palm PDAs, using a similar operating system and possessing pretty much the same interface. The T|X is a sleek device, not as pretty as the Vx but...

You don't have to be a professional to have a PDA
I started with Palm handspring devices over 6 years ago and have worked my way up through the ranks to the T/X. (The T/X is my fifth device). I must say I still own but no longer use or like the Treo 650- I went back to my Motorola Razr and Tungsten E. I now use my Motorola Razr and T/X.

Not An iPhone, But A Worthy Alternative With Mature Technology
Palm has, more or less, gotten out of the PDA game. Ironically, the pioneer in personal data assistants has pretty much focused its company's energies on a market it actually helped create: the smartphone. Their industry hit, the Treo, paved the way for other successes including their latest baby,... Read full review »
T|X Many Hoops To Clear to Work With Outlook
I agree with the other reviewers, so I'll concentrate on Outlook support.
Over the holidays I finally got around to migrating / integrating my Palm TX PDA with Microsoft Outlook.
This is my third Palm Pilot. I had a Palm Pilot Pro in the late 1990s, followed by a Palm IIIxe, but...

Palm TX
I am a medical resident, I bought my TX about a year and a half ago just before I started residency. So far it has done everything I needed it to. It will store tons of medical software / books with the added SD card I bought. It loads epocrates (drug program) very quickly, much more so than the... Read full review »
