good balance
I bought this from Wal-mart last year. I wanted something to take with me as I traveled for work. My main and initial interest in this player was it's avility to play avi/Divx files. Build quality questionable
We purchased this portable DVD player about 4 months ago. It's primarily used to keep our 4 year old entertained for long trips in the minivan. I opted for the black version that comes with extra accessories (bag, headphones, car charger, etc.)

I like this player. I ordered from Wal-Mart.com for $298. It is easy to operate. I was most worried about the picture quality considering the price. I need a bigger screen but I wanted a reasonable price too. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture.
