The slaughter of Indy...

byDagdaMor Jan 29, 2000

Pros I like the idea of the whip....
Cons It didn't make much heat when I burnt it...
Recommended it? No

This game is the sorriest excuse for a third person adventure game I have seen in my whole life. First of all there is no intro, I was psyched for something along the lines of Indy evading rampaging amazons or something of that nature in a rendered cinematic. What do I get? Indy walking to the edge... Read full review »

Pros great adventure
Cons takes too long to finish

Indiana Jones is actually fun, which is more than I can say for a lot of games. Indiana Jones not only puts you in the shoes of one of the greatest adventures of all time, and one of the sexest men of all time as well!!!

Indiana Jones is in the style of tomb raider but the level in indiana... Read full review »

Lacks Control, but has plenty of frusteration!

Pros decent graphics and sound.
Cons a lot of frusteration and lack of control of Indy
Recommended it? No

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine is just a Laura Croft in the male body form and has a whip. This game, almost identical to Tomb Raider, even brought a long all the problems Tomb Raider had.

Number One: What do you do? Your in a big room and you don't see an obvious way out. After... Read full review »

Pros Majestic well lit scenery and adventure galore. Good clips and story. Handy machine parts.
Cons Control problems, not much sex appeal. I prefer Lara's grunts and sighs.
Recommended it? Yes

How often have you heard it said that games are like movies you take part in? Infernal Machine may be the game that finally lives up to this boast. With the full 800+ meg download you get dozens of Hollywood quality cut scenes that genuinely add to the experience. The camera swoops around... Read full review »

Pros great story, moderate difficulty puzzles, running over commies in a truck
Cons framerate and fogging problems
Recommended it? Yes

LucasArts has made many adventure and action games over the years, and this is deffinitely on the top of them. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine really gives you an idea of what it's like to be Indy. The game starts off at Indy's digsite in the Canyonlands. You see that he has now become a... Getting as close as you can to being Indiana Jones!

byPilot279 Dec 21, 1999

Pros Great Graphics, Interesting Plot, Flawless Gameplay, Large Realistic Levels
Cons Puzzles can get confusing and take large amounts of time.
Recommended it? Yes

It's no secret that the folks at Core gathered a lot of their inspiration for the Tomb Raider series from movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark. So how fitting that this year Indiana Jones returns to steal right back from Lara. The previous Indiana Jones titles from LucasArts were all traditional... Read full review »

Pros Level design, sound, and the Indy mystique
Cons Poor controls, graphics, nothing new if you've played Tomb Raider
Recommended it? No

With virtually all of its titles, Lucasarts has impressed, delivering fascinating games with great graphics, exciting gameplay, and that extra special something that makes you return to the screen again and again. So, understandably, we've all been awaiting "Infernal Machine" like panting fools for... Read full review »

Not as Good as Tomb Raider

byJereck Dec 7, 1999

Pros Good story
Cons Movement, fighting
Recommended it? No

From the beginning it's obvious that this game has some problems. The story line is quite good, actually much better than can usually be hoped for in a video game. My main problem with the game, however, is with the controls. Whenever you start running Indy has to accelerate like an old car, and... Read full review »

The truth about this game

Pros Good Adventure,Music,and Graphics
Cons Movement and graphics of Indy
Recommended it? Yes

If you are a true Indy fan, than no matter what i say, you will still go and buy this game. First off, the story line in this game is excellent. There are many short movies that let the player really understand what the plot of this adventure is. If i had to compare it to any game out there, it... Read full review »
