An easy to use and efficient coffee grinder.
I like my coffee fresh and for that reason I prefer to grind my own beans. While looking for a grinder I made sure not to buy the cheapest one out there, but at the same time could not see the point in paying a lot of money, either. Mr. Coffee for the Missus
I like flavored coffees. My son and daughter-in-law know how much I enjoy my coffee so as a gift they gave me the Mr. Coffee coffee grinder along with a bag of vanilla coffee beans.

Neat Lil' Blade Coffee Grinder
I'll start by agreeing with another review for this product – the Mr. Coffee IDS77 is a blade grinder rather than a burr grinder. Nowhere on the package does it state that the IDS77 is a burr grinder, so I'm not totally sure where Epinions.com got this. Anyways, on with the review!

Not too bad...
I bought this grinder because it had the option of course grind. I use a french press and really can't afford a good burr grinder, but like to grind my coffee fresh. Excellent Grinder!
This is by far the best grinder I have owned. I like the fact that all soiled pieces can go in the dishwasher, easy clean up. The "cleaning system" helps remove grinds from the wall of the grinder, I find it functional.

Don't believe the cleaning hype, but it basically works
What attracted me to this product was the claim on the box about a "cleaning mechanism that clears the grounds from the side of the grinding chamber" and words like "No messy residue." Since I mentioned it to someone else as a gift idea (for me), I didn't really check it out that much.

A standard "BLADE" grinder with some LEDs...
First off, this is misrepresented here as a Burr grinder. It is in fact a "BLADE" grinder. The chamber maid cleaning system is actually 3 supports that run up the walls to help keep the chamber clean. Cleaning Torture!! Totally MESS!!!!
Its a very cute grinder.... but the "Chamber Maid Cleaning System" is useless. When I bought it I thought it was pretty cool but arms don't do a good job of scraping along the grinder walls.
