Pros Light weight, easily use any water faucet, cleans in dishwasher.
Cons Doesn't feel any more humid in the air, a bit pricey compared to others.
Recommended it? No

Perhaps the fact it's 'made in China' should have been a clue, but after a week of use, I am not only disappointed, but I'm willing to stand in lines built up since Christmas to return it!  Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against China, but seriously, with the lead in the toys recently, one... Pros Slim design, 5 year limited warranty, night light feature, fan speed control, low...
Cons Makes some noise, depends on fan speed and how close you're sitting next to it.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this Care Free Humidifier Plus Evaporative Humidifier by Hunter because I was tired of purchasing two to three filters every winter for our Kaz Humidifier. At around $4 a filter, every year it was getting more and more expensive to own it.

Pros no filters to buy, night light is nice when it works.
Cons hard to clean, things seem to break on it.
Recommended it? No

I have had this humidifier over a year so I can attest to its durability.

Pros It didn't explode when I plugged it in!
Cons High cost, high maintenance, false advertising, bad customer service.
Recommended it? No

I bought this model because of the "care-free" claims on the package. I was willing to pay the extra cost (twice the cost of other humidifiers I looked at) because it was a brand I trust and because of the low maintenance claims.
