Horrible design

Pros Very good suction and great for getting underneath low objects
Cons Poorly designed, small dust collector, hard to clean the filer.
Recommended it? No

I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone who is does not have a lot of muscles. While the vacuum does have a lot of suction and is great for getting under beds and other low places, it does a terrible job on carpeting. The wheels on the head unit are so small that when you put the vacuum on a... Read full review »

Pros Overall, this little vacuum works extremely well and is easy to use and store.
Cons DIED AFTER 1 YEAR'S USE.
Recommended it? No

Update 3/20/08
I did love this little machine, but I'm very disappointed now. One month after the warranty expired, the thing started malfunctioning. One week later, it won't even turn on. It is dead. It needs to be repaired. One year and one month after I purchased it. This is not the kind of... Read full review »

Gets the job done

Pros A great mid-price canister vac that is a good value for the money.
Cons So far, none.
Recommended it? Yes

When my old Oreck upright began to show signs of midlife crisis, it was time to get a new vacuum. The question of canister or upright was a no-brainer; the biggest problem with the Oreck is that it's impossible to clean under beds and dressers with an upright. The question of bag or bagless was... Read full review »

A Great Little Bag-less Canister Vacuum

byofreason Sep 4, 2007

Pros Suction, power-brush, ergonomics, quiet, lightweight, easy to empty, retractable cord,...
Cons Small front wheel, can't store all attachments on-board.
Recommended it? Yes

We had a Kenmore bagged canister vacuum that recently started to develop problems that were not worth repairing, so it was time for a new vacuum. One of the things we disliked about the old vac was having to buy bags. Another was the fact the vacuum slowly lost suction power with every use,... Read full review »

A tall girl's knight in shining armor!

Pros Cord length. Cord rewind. Power hand tool. Ease of use. On board attachments.
Cons A little tricky to get used to use of carpet/floor cleaner at first.
Recommended it? Yes

I must be the only one who is happy with the cord length! My old vacuum had a very short cord. To me, the wind tunnel has a very long cord! I used to have to unplug and replug in every room. With the wind tunnel, I only have to unplug and replug once in our downstairs area.

I am 6' tall... Read full review »

Impressive performance, good features, good value, so far...

Pros button controls, suction, noise level, bagless, easy to clean, attachments, compact,...
Cons Some plastic elements seem a little vulnerable and fragile
Recommended it? Yes

I have only had it the new vacuum for a few weeks and so far I am pretty satisfied. Mind you I am comparing this vacuum against a pretty old hoover canister (10yrs+ maybe even 20) and a 6 year old hoover upright (that died).

First thing I like: it's quieter than I am used to for a vacuum... Read full review »

Fabulous vacuum but pain in the booty to maintain!

Pros Super strong suction. Really gets down to the nitty gritty dirt in your carpets.
Cons Too many problems with the mechanics. Warranty doesn't cover long enough.
Recommended it? No

I have had this vacuum for over a year and a half. I love that it is so thorough and really sucks up the dirt in my deepest pile carpets. This was my first cannister vacuum. I am sorry to say that I now hate it and want to move back to an upright. That's just a preference to maneuvering about my... Read full review »

Think Twice

Pros No bag, easy to clean, price
Cons Piece of junk
Recommended it? No

I read the reviews here and went out and bought this vacuum. It was easy to put together and seemed like it was going to be a great vacuum. It was easy to dump out the dirt collection container and easy to wipe off the filter. The wand was easy to pull out and use for the close up to wall cleaning... Read full review »

After 12 months, falling apart, duct tape everywhere.

Pros Great suction, controls, quiet.
Cons Filter cleaning, cord retraction bad, hose split, wand problems, attachments splitting.
Recommended it? No

To start off, I need to say this vacuum works great when it works. I don't even mind the motorized floor head not swiveling, as I compare it to a commercial upright for its power, and the uprights usually don't swivel. Cleaning the filter was a pain until I started using the sprayer on our sink,... Read full review »

This vacuum sucks! (Like it should!)

Pros Quiet, powerful, low long-term ownership costs.
Cons Filters clog easily, hot, plastic-on-plastic wheels.
Recommended it? Yes

My wife's Sharp upright had seen better days. I felt it wasn't picking up as much as it should, and only one dealer in our area carried bags.

We decided it was time to look for a new vacuum. My wife wanted to look at a Hoover Windtunnel bagless upright because she liked the features.
