The only difference is the cord...

This Hoover C3820 SteamVac Spotter / Carpet cleaner is ideal for quick clean ups of stains and spills, with an 11" wide cleaning path and five rotating SpinScrub brushes that automatically adjust to different carpet heights. These brushes can be adjusted to three speeds and are also removable for easy cleaning. The SteamVac features a 20' 18/3 SJT cord and an integrated carrying handle that makes it a breeze to carry! This C3820 SteamVac uses efficient heated cleaning that forces hot air into the cleaning path for a deeper clean. The Hoover C3820 includes 48 oz. of ULTRA detergent. Its Fingertip Trigger Solution allows the user to control just how much of the solution to apply to the stain or spill and when the recovery tank is full, the automatic "shut-off" mechanism will stop the cleaner's suction. With a large, washable 1 gallon clean water/solution tank and recovery tank, you're sure to get the maximum cleaning power available for quick cleanups.
