What a great car!!!
It's amazing how much space is available inside. Takes bulky boxes & large items easily. We can fit in big dog crates, appliances, etc etc.
I like the auto side doors. We had a minor problem with a side door when we first got the car. Honda fixed it free and no...

Not the Honda of Yesteryear
What do you think of when you think of a Honda? A nice, well equipped, long lasting, cheap to mantian vehicle? Well this is not that kind of Honda. This is one that will require more mantince, repairs and attention, and it would make Joan Rivers look cheap to maintain..
We bought our van...

Great......except for the doors
I bought this car new in February 2001 in anticipation of the arrival of our 3rd child. We just passed the 100K mile mark last month, and this car has been great. Our transmission went out at 79K miles, surprising for a Honda. But, in true Honda form, they replaced it free of charge based on an... Read full review »
Wish it came in 5-speed and sunroof!
Just purchased a used 2001 EX, with 77K miles. Handles like a car. Very comfortable. Even with that many miles, the van drives extremely well. I never wanted to own a mini-van, changed my mind after test driving this one. Also drove a new Windstar and Caravan...but the used Odyssey with 77K miles... Read full review »
An Odyssey of It's Own.
Looking for a pro-family car that is comfortable, advanced, and reliable?
No need to search more my friend, you've found it. It's the 2001 Honda Odyssey.
EXTERIOR:
Let's start on the exterior, drivetrain is spectactular, a very smooth ride. One your annoying loud kids...

Why we hate our Honda Van-ICKKK-Buy a Toyota!
Sorry about the length, i needed to vent.
We drive over 160K miles a year between 4 drivers, so we have a mini family fleet (8 cars). So amongst all the cars we own, we used to have a 2001 Odyssey van. Ex model, silver in color. WE bought our van because every one raved about it and...

Still Happy with Odyssey 4 years later !
I bought my minivan new in 2001. With two pre-teen sons involved in multiple sports and all of the equipment that goes with that, our Lincoln Navigator just wasn't cutting it regarding storage space.
I was somewhat hesitant to buy the product just because it was a minivan. However, I was...

First Minivan and extremely happy
We bought this in August 2001, just before our third baby was born. (Can't fit three car seats in a Sentra, but I digress.) We test drove the Chrysler, the Nissan, the Toyota, and looked at the whole Ford and Chevy line. This one was the best of all of them.
We like the dual power doors...

2001 Odyssey
I like the 2001 Odyssey, and would probably get one again. I had to add custom leather. The interior is extremely noisy, but dealerships in OH and FL tell me that this is normal. The black/white LCD is difficult for me to read under various lighting conditions. The garage door opener button is... Read full review »
I love my Honda Odyssey
I have never owned a van before and we were considering buying a Dodge Durango. However, reading the safety information on the Durango changed my mind and seeing how many 5 star ratings the Odyssey had received led me this way. The van drives like a car. It's very easy to park. I drive about... Read full review »
This or the Sienna. There are no others.
Time to get a minivan.
I have always enjoyed the terrific qualities of the Honda line, so the Odyssey was almost a no brainer. I say almost, because at the time, they were almost nonexistant on dealer lots. Knowing this, we opted to test drive a Sienna. Ugh. The room was minimal and the prices...

Why I didn't buy the 2001Honda Odyessy
When I was looking for a new van in 2001, I got my chance to drive an Odyessy rather unexpectedly. Most dealers had a long waiting list for the van and there just weren't many on the lots to test drive.
One dealer I called had just received an unannounced shipment which contained one van...

Can't wait to trade in my Honda!!
** Sorry this is soooo long**
We bought our 2001 Honda Odyssey in May 2001 when my 8 year old Ford Aerostar (my 2nd Aerostar, by the way) died a horrible, too expensive to repair death. Taking on a car payment was not high on our list of things to do that year, but I needed good, reliable...

This van is the TOTAL package!
We got this van in April of 2001. We absolutely love it. It is so handy to have. We have two small children, and by far, the handiest feature is the automatic doors. We were drawn to this vehicle because of it's superior safety rating. We never buy anything without thoroughly researching it first... Read full review »
Died and gone to heaven
It is awesome! It had to be designed by a mom... If you were traveling from home to say Yellowstone park, where would all the luggage be? in the back, where would you want the spare tire to be during a flat? yep, behind the driver in the floor where there is no luggage. Pretty neat?
if...

"Not your father's minivan"
My wife and I had been looking semi-seriously for a 1 or 2-year-old minivan for about 6 months. Our first choice was a Honda Odyssey, our second was the Toyota Sienna. After surveying a few local Honda dealers we found they each deal only about one used Odyssey every two years, so we weren't... Read full review »
The best minivan available
First of all its a Honda which means it is reliable. I do a lot of driving, 30k a year and the only problem I've had with the Odyssey ex is the auto sliding doors. These electric doors have eight metal contact that can oxidize and give a false warning that the door is not closed. I've had to sand... Read full review »
The Ultimate Ride
The Odyssey drives like a car and has great visibility. The ride is quiet and the car handles very well in the rain, snow, and traffic. The interior is very spacious and adults can easily get in and out of the car. There is an abundance of headroom for those who are tall. Getting into the third row... Read full review »
Makes the long trip short.
It's been almost a year since we got the Oddy. They always say the first year is the best one, and it has been. With nothing more than oil changes and scheduled tune ups at the dealer, this van has been impecable. Almost 18,000 miles on it and it's still going strong on it's perfect ride (no jinx... You can get what you want
Yes, I will add my voice to those who couldn't believe they got a minivan, but now I love the room I have! I also like that I can get the boys out of their car seats and get ready to go while I'm still in the van - in case of rain, etc. We tried out the Mazda - not enough power, tried out the...
