Great image quality, sharp text, low cost.
In reading the reviews on this monitor, I could see a pattern forming. Independent consumer sites--like Epinions.com--give it a good to great review. Sites from magazines and so forth give it bad reviews. I wonder if the advertising budget HP spends on these mags has anything to do with this?

Excellent 19 inch LCD monitor for the money

Excellent Picture Quality but Cable Hook-up is a Pain
This monitor has excellent picture quality, especially for tweaking pictures as it does not have any glare.
