Not compatible
I experienced consistent "fatal exception" errors after installing this scanner. Scanner and Adobe software would work fine for a couple of nights before the errors started again. Scanability
It is wonderful to finally be able to scan pictures into my computer. Now my computer is a completely functional office. I am very happy that I no longer have to go to the nearest printer to make copies. Yet, this hasn't been a piece of cake the whole time either.

Buyer BEWARE!
This scanner worked perfectly until it's warranty expired. I wonder if they can program it to blow up at 91-days. That's right folks! Only a 90-day warranty. Good, but not for Windows 2000

Great Scanner, Affordable Price
We bought the HP 3200 for our office about a year ago. I have used other scanners in the past like Mustek and Microtek, but the HP ScanJet has them beat in this price class. The HP 3200C is simple to install and even easier to use. It's quick and the scans come out pretty nice.

Only if you don't scan often
I purchased this scanner mainly because of the price: $33 at Staples.com when they had it on sale + coupon. I don't scan often, so this was a very good choice for me. But those who are looking to scan more often or are impatient, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

Is cheap worth it?
Granted, this HP scanner is inexpensive. In fact it is well priced!
However, you must ask yourself if it is worth the trouble!
First, the scanner isn't that great of quality. Sure, it is decent for the price, but with today's technology, don't you want great quality pics?
