Made to last the years
I found it at work over 8yrs ago half apart ready for the trash, turned out some eng couldn't access it by-way of net. So I put it back together and it works, by net access or direct connect.

Like a rock
I've had this printer for about 8 years and the ONLY maintenance I've ever given it in all that time is adding paper and one RAM upgrade (and that took 10 minutes). In 2002 I had to change the toner cartridge. I got it on eBay for $30, and I know that I can now look forward to ANOTHER 5 years of... Read full review »
6MP is 8ppm, speed-bumped 5MP, still good.
In 2005, this printer is not competing on spec's or speed. New printers from Samsung (et. al.) are lighter, smaller, cheaper, (faster?). This printer is perfect for people who are on the trailing edge of computing, and don't want to spend a lot of money on a printer or on ink jet cartridges.
