Affordable, good quality, great for home and schoolwork
About 2 years ago, we purchased the computer and this printer. It was a package deal thing. It's mostly used to print the kids school reports, letters or misc. home use. I've used it to print photos on regular copy paper.

Don't Buy - Not Worth It
Received for free with laptop purchase. No wonder they are giving away for free. This would be good for regular printing but in no way is this a photo printer. If I would have paid for it myself it would have gone right back. My two year old Canon i850 is WAY WAY better.

Printer SUCKS!
After your first ink cartridge is used up, you'll find that removing cartridges requires a screwdriver (look at HP.com support - no I'm not kidding).
