El Treo Es Numero Uno (Review is in English)

Pros The perfect size, tons of features, speaker phone, internet access
Cons new ones aren't cheap, battery is permanent, poor digital camera
Recommended it? Yes

In my opinion the Treo 600 (and 650) is to date the most perfect combination of size and ability in a PDA/phone. I purchased it because I constantly found myself leaving my PDA at home or in the car when I could have really used it. Since I always keep my phone on me, now I always have my PDA as... Pros Fast and easy text messaging, chat threads
Cons Bad Reception, large in size, slow internet
Recommended it? No

I am HUGE into text messaging. I am a very straight to the point kind of person and that is the reason I love text messaging so much. It's very straight to the point. So when I saw that they were making phones with the QWERTY keyboard I just had to take a look. This would make text messaging sooo... Read full review »

Treo 600: Decent Smartphone with Serious Some System Problems

Pros Palm organizer and phone.
Cons Some serious system problems, terrible camera, lackluster reception.
Recommended it? Yes

I have always been a Palm OS user (started with the 128kb Palm). I love the OS and think that it is still a viable OS for handhelds – especially when compared with WinCE (aka PocketPC or Windows Mobile or whatever Microsoft is calling it these days). Symbian is also a good mobile OS, but since I am... Read full review »

Pros Long Battery Life Every feature has different ways to be accessed
Cons Camera is 1.2 Mega Pixel Can not be used as a modem
Recommended it? Yes

I love my Treo 600! Being one of the few who had a Handspring Visor Deluxe with the VisorPhone module - which was great, because it worked in bright light conditions. This was unlike the cool, but unpredictable Treo 160 which locked up all the time when you really needed it).

My Treo 600... Read full review »

Pros Easy to use, qwerty keyboard, many options and durable not fragile
Cons lack of ability to download large pages from web, erases items when battery dies
Recommended it? Yes

This phone is fantastic. As a Real Estate agent I find this phone offers everything I need for my business. When on the road, I can check emails and web sites. I can talk on the phone while inputting info onto the calendar. I use it as a pager as well which is one less piece of equipment needed to... Read full review »

Treo 600 Very good, some room for improvement.

Pros Palm OS means lots of good software. Best balance of phone and PDA so far.
Cons Poor camera, slow internet access, mediocre web browsing.
Recommended it? Yes

I have had a Treo 600 since April, I purchased it directly from Handspring through their Treo upgrade program. The upgrade deal basically allows for something close to the "promotional" price from the major carriers *without* being committed to a contract. (I am an existing T-Mobile customer in the... Pros great software (Palm OS) is all-in-one (when working)
Cons bulky finicky service-prone (from a bad Service company)
Recommended it? No

I have owned a Treo 600 for 2.5 years.... actually, I had my original one replaced twice in that span, so I'm on my 3rd version of the original buy.

Palm has been a company I have tried to remain loyal and faithful to for many years, going back to the Palm handheld organizer that added a... Read full review »

Pros Battery life, keyboard, easy of use, design, speakerphone capable.
Cons Antenna, not so bright screen, speakerphone feedback, internet browsing.
Recommended it? No

I guess if you are looking at a Treo, you would be looking for the capabilities of the PalmOS, because otherwise I see no reason to even consider it.

The first thing I did, was put the screen protector on the screen, because I did not want to gamble with scratching the screen on such an... Read full review »

Cons No bluetooth and high price even with a contract.

My Word:

The Handspring Treo 600 is the next generation of the Treo family from Handspring. As you may already know PalmOne purchased the Handspring Company and now Handspring is officially PalmOne.

Ok back to the Treo 600.

I like this Smartphone for now. I said the... Read full review »

Cons hard to type on if you have longer nails.

I got the Palm Treo 600 Handheld for my birthday this year. I have had it for several months and I must say that this is one of the most practical phones/palms I have ever seen. Its great, I used to have to carry a Palm around with my cell phone. You can just imagine how much I had to carry around... Read full review »
