CARAFE DRIBBLES A LOT!
While the Hamilton Beach Stay or Go coffee maker makes good tasting coffee, there are more negatives than positives for this coffee maker. Stay Away From This Coffee Maker
The carafe doesn't keep the coffee hot at all...I later realized that the coffee simple drips into the pot through a hole in the top of the lid so go figure that heat escapes. Looking at this unit in the store it seemed to be a great idea and when it gets cold in northern Illinois having the thermal cups to take outside was a bonus. Hot Coffee - no breakable parts
In general, I prefer thermos coffeemakers as they are on only for the brew cycle; the danger of leaving your coffeepot on is over.
