good for slushies bad for actual ice cream
I tried to make both sorbet and ice cream with this product and neither turned out. The first time I left the outer part that you are supposed to freeze outside in 10 degree weather since it is too bulky to easily fit into our freezer. not worth it at all
Put the base into the freezer for 2 days; made up vanilla ice cream mixture, cooled this in the fridge overnight; into the unit it goes, it eventually looks like it's going to freeze or get to the soft-serve state, but it never really gets there.
