We threw ours in the garbage
because that's where it belongs. We moved our son's bedroom downstairs to the finished basement and his room doesn't have a heat vent. It's a small room with a bunch of furniture plus a trundle bed. The only option was a space heater and I don't feel good about space heaters in my son's room... Read full review »
HGW-308 is the WINNER!
Gas costs TOO much! This is cheap, clean, safe heat!
I wasn't too sure about the "Micathermic" part (I figured it was just a new word), but the thing is *NOT* a regular radiator/heater. In fact I do believe it's much better than the red-hot wire or boiling oil heaters. But it's different...

It's OK
it's 19 degrees outside, the unit is about 7 feet from the desk and sofa. it feels like 75 at the desk and sofa. it is and has been on a low setting all day. temp reads 59 directly behind the heater. the other rooms are freezing. it makes noises like sheet metal warping when it turns on and off. so...
