Pros Works with no problems with OS 10.3
Cons Poorly labeled input level switch.

I have been using the headphone jack on my Apple Powerbook to hook up to a stereo for quite some time. Until today when I dropped a book which landed on the miniplug breaking the jack. All I needed to do was turn a cassette into a cd. Cd to cassette is really easy on a simple boom-box. It should work the other way around, right?

This audio card is essential for any Mac laptop users that don't have line-in or mic-in on their computers.

It installs simply - plug and play as any other audio card in Mac. It comes with its own recording software so I was able to start transferring tapes to computer right away.

The iMic is a neat little gadget that allows you to connect a tape deck, LP, microphone or guitar to your computer to record audio. It connects to your USB port which is supposed to have higher audio quality than the microphone jack.
