Pros Excellent sound for the price!
Cons Bass can be overbearing and interfere with midrange. Uncomfortable on ears after an hour.
Recommended it? Yes

It's a given that Grado cans, while not "street stylish" or hip in the looks department, offer the very best in price/performance and cost-effectiveness, especially in the $60 - $200 range.

Basically, the standard one should use when selecting between Grado cans is "how good is my... Read full review »

Cons Only price(In the uk)#160.00 retail.
Recommended it? Yes

I have been thinking about getting a new pair of cans for quite a while now and came across the Grado brand.

I read about various models SR60/80/125 and only a small percentage did'nt award top marks.

The negative points mainly concerned comfort/looks,i would have to say there... Read full review »

Pros Clarity; A great upper register
Cons Best when used in a quiet room.
Recommended it? Yes

Other reviews here seem pretty accurate, but don't provide a context as to what kind of recording or performance was considered to be 'warm' or 'bass heavy' or have 'too much treble.'

I am a classical music lover and have listened to enough of my disks on my new Grados to know that the... Read full review »

Pros Warm, consistently detailed presentation.
Cons High end harsh at times, bass can muddy at higher volumes.
Recommended it? Yes

Anyone who has listened to Grado's line of 'phones knows that they are a great way to completely sever yourself from the outside world for a short time. The 125's are no exception. They are extremely detailed for the price and can deliver a punch at almost any volume. The 125's feature good bass... Read full review »

Pros Lightweight,portable
Cons sound leakage
Recommended it? No

I was looking to upgrade my current headphones. I have been using a pair of Sony v6's for many years and since they were so old, I thought that there would be an improvement with something new. Well I may be in the minority here but I was not impressed at all with the Grado SR 125's. I found them... Read full review »

Hi Everyone!
Before you buy anything, I would recommend to try it first before you commit on buying them. Alright, lets get to the point! It took me at least a week to decide which headphone I really like to buy. Every single day I kept on going back to different local retail store of home... Read full review »

Pros Everything except the Con.
Cons Need adapter for portable listening, but who in their right mind . . .
Recommended it? Yes

I'd like to clarify something; Grado Prestige Series headphones are, in my opinion, some of the most comfortable headphones on the market today. The tender foam caresses the ears, and the flexible soft-leather coated metal headband allows for a custom fit because IT CAN BE BENT - even to fit those... Read full review »
