450 degrees kills oven totally dead
Went totally dead while on convection setting at 450.
Took three service calls and four technicians to get it back up and running. Lasted two weeks went dead again.

Advantium 120 A WORST Choice
Buying the GE Advantium was possibly the WORST appliance choice I have ever made. The unit has been installed since Aug.,2005, and cost $700. More than I expected, awesome product
There are a couple bad reviews on here, and like anything that is manufactured, there's bound to be a lemon once in awhile. Poorly designed for longevity
The first time it needed repair, we called and a repairman with an attitude came and insisted it was my power that was at fault when in fact after I paid him over $100 for the advise, it was a fuse I replaced myself. Not reliable
Paid $600, worked fine for couple years, although the paint on the handle pealed. Then the interior light when out and the fan would not stop running. Run exhaust fan to prevent the overheating issue
We had our's die within first week due to the overheating issue. After the usual 3 techs etc. got one who knew what he was doing. He suggested simply running the exhaust fan when using the oven. We've done that and have not had the unit overheat now in over 1.5 years.

Worked Great - for a month
We have had our advantium 120 for a year and a half and have had similar problems as others have described. The unit cooks well when it is working. I have found it very difficult to clean inside.
