Well i got this pc on August 16 2006 and its 1 year old now. It has been through a lot. Some of the drivers got uninstalled so I had to go without sound and the ability to play games for a while but i finally figured out how to reinstall the drivers and its running perfect now. Don't buy
I purchased the computer in August 2006. At first it was a small problem with no power to the keyboard a couple times. Rebooting the computer resolved this issue. But it started to occur more frequently. Then the modem started to freeze up.
The computer has been back to Gateway 3 times...

DO NOT BUY GATEWAY
I lost my previous computer, a Compaq, to a lightening strike. I replaced it with this gateway which was comparable according to the gateway manufacturer. Speed, ram, etc.
I don't care what their specs claim, this thing is much slower than my previous computer! Over-all it truly sux.
