Pros Entire US map, touch screen, voice directions, speedometer, works on cars & motorcycles.
Cons Takes hours to initially load maps, software hangs, difficult to find some details.
Recommended it? Yes

Men don't like to stop & ask directions - with this device they don't have to! ... ergo, man's best friend :)

Pros Easy to use. Didn't even look at the manual. Works insanely well.

Pros Great directions including correct lane. Extremely portable. Easy to program.
Cons Voice doesn't say road names. Doesn't adjust for car pool lanes. Limited...

Pros Great display, voice prompt quality very good, internal antenna very good.
Cons Points of interest seem to be about 18 months to 2 years out of date.

Pros Self-sufficient after initial downloading of maps and programming routes
Cons 5 1/2 hours to load ALL US/Canada maps. 1st time 'GPS'ers beware!

The Garmin 2610 is a really excellent tool to use to get around. I moved 1500 miles from the North East to Florida and using the included 128MB card was able to carry around virtually all the maps I wanted during the trip. Pros The touch screen is easy to use, fast and acurate direction calculation.
Cons Tilt adjustment does not hold good on rough roads.
Recommended it? Yes

I have upgraded to Garmin 2610 from Garmin V GPS. I added a 1Gig Compact Flash card and was able to load ~ 1/2 the US & 1/2 of Canada on it which is plenty for my needs.
