Garbage

no good, jvc=poor customer service
i agree with the review by ammazcd. this camera is less than a year old, has been used to record less than 5 hours of video, and now the playback is blocky. head-cleaning tapes are supposed to solve the problem, but they don't. more importantly, why should i have to clean the heads after only 5... This camera stinks
I purchased this camera with high hopes. Boy was I diappointed. The camera needed to be cleaned after just 2 hours of use. Great camera
I have used this camera now for about 3 months. I have taped well over 20 hours of video without a glitch.
Conversion to dvd was quick and easy using a firewire card. (for those new to video editing this is the accepted standard for video transfer and editing)

Great Camcorder
I believe this camcorder is the best in its price range. It is my first camcorder and I am very happy with it. GR-D270 has great features. Yes, the lens cap is crap and for the price it should be better. Loading tapes is easy, controls are good, and the design is good too.
