GE gets it right on PDW machines.
GE's latest line of dishwashers are listed as PDW models. They have a full length CONTOURED door, tall tub, NYLON coated racks with NO center tower cutout, and the tines are ball tipped for maximum life. I bought the PDW7300. GE Does it again!!
This GE dishwasher was an extremely good buy. I bought it as a scratch and dent model at my local appliance store for 399.99. Not very happy with the product
We wanted to spend about $400-500 on a dishwasher and my main criteria was just that it wash well. I didn't care too much about quietness. My Mom was right!
I bought the black model. While these run around $500 I paid $250 as a clearance item and floor display.
I should have listened to my Mother.........she always told me that GE appliances are crap........Mom was right again!

Have used better one than GE

Wish I Had My Old GE Dishwasher Back
I had a GE Profile dishwasher but it got recalled. It was great. But I thought since it was 7 years old, I would take the $300 rebate and get new one. Wrong choice!

Do not buy this one! Neither the machine nor the company act as they should.
Purchased GE Profile Dishwasher in December of 2003 because of reputation of manufacturer, the purported quietness of the machine, and the long life of the machine. poor quality poor performance
from day 1 did not clean well ,multiple electrical problems including heating element not shutting off and melting plastic components,culimnating in the entire push button panel becoming inoperative and the unit requiring expensive non-warranty repairs.

Don't buy!
