only lasted for 17 months
I have the GE JES2251SJ02 in stainless steel. I have to agree with several of the other posters. My microwave only lasted for 17 months (Feb 7, 2007 to June 22, 2008). Now it doesn't work.
No inside light, no display, no response to the keypad. There doesn't appear to be a fuse anywhere...

Looks and Works Well

Disappointing right from the start
The first thing I tried was heating water for a cup of tea, which seemed a nice and easy way to begin, using the Lunch/Soup setting. We were amazed at the utter silence of the unit. Great........if you don't mind doing without popcorn
This microwave excels at everything except making popcorn. For some reason I've never been able to turn out a decent bag of popcorn. No matter how long I let it cook, it burns the popcorn in the bag from the inside out. It's outstanding at defrosting and reheating food though.
