Ditto - it' s a lemon
We owned ours for 1 1/2 years. It worked great. Then the tub inside came loose and the very loud bumping sounds and moving across the floor activities began. It will cost about as much to fix it as it will to replace this. I regret purhasing this. Read full review »
Do Not buy!!!
The machine got very loud after 6 months and then the belt broke, service tech replaced the belt but said noice wasn't an issue. One year later the belt is destroyed and the motor is burned out. I'm taking the GE 75$ have a nice day and go away consolation prize and buying a new washer not from GE. Read full review »
OMG!
Less than a day and I'm extremely unhappy. Wish I had researched before buying. Our old machine of 9 years died (a Frigadere). It was a basic machine, but right now I'd trade back to it in a heart beat to rid us of this one.

do not buy this machine...
Returned the first machine 3 days after installation because the tub was so loose that spin cycle could not be completed. The machine almost walked out of our house from the shaking... we should have taken that as a sign, but 15 months later with the replacement...

Ill Never Buy GE Again
The washing tub came loose within 9 months and had to be repaired.At the same time the tub had biased to the rear and was no longer centered.I asked that both problems be fixed on one call.The technician did not fix the tub being off center and blamed it on a not level floor.This is the same place... MAJOR LEMON

Avoid this product
We just purchased this machine and have been very disappointed in it's performance. When washing jeans or towels, the machine throws itself off balance. Breaks at least once a month.
