2005 TAURUS

The Taurus enters 2005 again available in four models: SE Sedan, SE Wagon, SEL Sedan, and SEL Wagon. All models feature a 3.0L V-6 engine that produces 155 horsepower and 185 ft-lbs of torque. Standard equipment on the Sable includes a four-speed automatic transmission, keyless entry remote system, front and rear mudguards, and power convenience features. The optional Safety and Security Package features traction control, anti-lock brakes, and front side impact airbags. Other available options include a Mach sound system with CD changer, a power moonroof, a rear spoiler, leather seats, and premium wheels.

I have had my 2005 Ford Taurus since 2007. I traded in an SUV to save on gas and couldn't be more satisfied. I love how nice this car rides. Pros It is really good on gas.
Cons Sometimes, it's not big enough for my family.

Cons bad transmissions
Recommended it? No

I have NEVER in my life driven a car where the transmissions only make it to 78.800 miles. My son had a Ford taurus and lost his transmission around the same mileage as well. Ford must be living up the the old name "fix or repair daily"
