Fight Night Round 2 ? Floats Like a Butterfly, Stings Like a Bee
After getting hooked on NBC's new show, "The Contender", I had the urge to fight someone. Instead of literally going toe-to-toe with someone, I picked up EA Sports' new release, Fight Night Round 2. Fight Night Round 2 is the follow-up to last year's smash hit, Fight Night 2004. That was the first... Read full review »
Ding Ding Ding, bring on Round 2!
The jump from Fight Night 2004 to Fight Night Round 2 was a large and beneficial change to many boxing fans. Even though Fight Night 2004 was a major hit with many gamers and fans of the genre, there were many nuances with the system; for instance, not being able to move while blocking/punching... Fight Night Round 2: Let's get Ready to Rumble!
Full disclosure: I dislike Sports games almost as much as I dislike real professional sports. But after watching a few co-workers playing the original Fight Night, I figured I'd give it a chance. So I picked up Fight Night Round 2 and was not disappointed.

The Most Amazing Boxing Game I've ever Played!
EA Sports has done it again! This game is superb. By far, the most realistic boxing game I've ever played.
If you look at my reviews, you can see that I reviewed Rocky for the Gamecube a while back and I really like that game. But this game beats it in almost every way imaginable.

Lots of fun, but not quite a boxing sim
In designing Fight Night Round 2, EA Sports was obviously more interested in designing a boxing game that was fun and delivered a lot of "oohs" and "ahs", rather than creating a true-to-life boxing sim.
In that regard, they have succeeded fantastically. Fight Night Round 2 is a blast to...

Knock outs are coming
Fight night round 2 one thing about this game that caught my attention was the cover they have my favorite boxer on there Bernard Hopkins. When I saw this I rented the game and let me just say I have only one regret. That is after you make your boxer you are not able to change his hair style. If... Read full review »
boxing without the brain damage, cut lips, and Eastwood ethunasia controverseys.
I got fight night a couple of weeks ago and I have been playing this and Super Punch Out which is included on the disc a lot in the past couple of weeks. While I never played the original Fight Night I was impressed with fight night round 2 but it does have a few flaws.
Aim of the game...

An Engaging Boxing Experience
EA Sports Fight Night Round 2 IS the boxing game to beat (no pun intended). This game is the best boxing game ever, period. It has lots of real-life boxers, great create-a-boxer mode and a very realistic look, but the thing i'm most impressed about this game is the controls....Somehow EA just made... Read full review »
Fight Night Round 2
After playing 2004, I was disappointed to find that round 2 became too arcadey.comparisions pro evolution vs fifa games. It's sorta like a pretty woman with lots cosmetics added on here and there. Read full review »
Eye popping action in one of the best boxing games made.
This is like the best boxing game made. The graphics are great, and there are really cool replays that show how u hit ur opponent and the blood or mouthpiece flies out of their mouths. The cutman ability is really awesome. You can heal your players between fights so they're ready for the next... Read full review »
