Dont Buy this product
I installed my Fedders about 2 months ago It worked a couple of weeks but the arc detection plug would kick out anywhere from every 20 minutes to every few hours.Then I noticed the touch controls had to be pushed repeatedly to work and them the compressor started kicking off after a few minutes and... runs for 5 minutes - dies.
I've seen it described as lightweight - DON"T try installing it by yourself. But I didn't expect it to be lightweight; I expected it to be powerful. I was disappointed. "Caution "do not buy !
Fedders went bankrupt in 8/07 and there is no warranty! My unit was sold to me by conns who knew about the no warranty issue and did not disclose this to me.I got my unit home and it ran O.K. for two days and then stopped and displayed an error code of (E1)- long story short my unit does not...
