Horrible coffee
The coffee had a burnt plastic taste for the first few months. After it finally went away after many uses, the coffee still did not taste good. The flimsy carafe broke after less than a year. Read full review »
Spare yourself some aggravation.
I had formerly owned a stylish-looking Cuisinart, which was awkward to fill, dripped, and died minutes after the warranty expired. At first I was happy with this Krups coffee maker. Expensive and mediocre
I bought this because of the quality reputation of Krups products, styling, and the auto shut-off feature. I use filtered water already, so the filtration system wasn't a draw for me. Awful Design
This machine drives me crazy. The clear tube on the side to show the water level gets bubbles so you cant tell how many cups you are making. The filter floats out of its socket.
