Your kitchen may be on fire....
We got it as a present and soon after, one morning my wife placed a bagel in the toaster and went to shower, and about 8 minutes later jumped out all wet, 'cause the smoke alarm went off... Electronic timer is a hazard
Within days after buying this toaster oven, the display started blanking out, or showing just a few nonsense characters while cooking. The heating elements would stay on and burn the food. Loved it; Till it EXPLODED
I was toasting some bread this morning and BOOM ; I was amazed, the glass door shattered into a thousand pieces and created a large mess that potentially could have injured someone. I will never buy a Krups product again! I thought they were supposed to make a quality product. What a joke! I bought this oven 1/19/09. It has been in the shop 3 times and will go in again tomorrow. Worked Great until the glass Exploded when used on Broil!
