Quite decent
I'm very happy with my purchase with ONLY a few reservations. This device offers solid navigation to any destination. Because of the system it uses, however, its not always the most accurate. The drawbacks to its navigation are that if you want the shortest route, it will take you off at the first... Read full review »
Lady in the Box
This is my second try at this. I thought I'd talked about it navigating well and mentioning both navigation and use but I was told that there needed to be more product info. Actually I was told "Think of your review as the only review a consumer might see to compare this GPS unit to another" While... Read full review »
Definitely good for the price - Best GPS for the price!
I just received my Nav-Cam 7700 (North American version) from www.thinkgeek.com . I primarily bought it because I already had a 150$ gift card to the site and figured that another 150 bucks on my part for a gps however mediocre was not too bad.
To my surprise this is a pretty darn good little...

Hackable! Loved it!
After getting the unit, I found a couple little things about it I didn't like, so I went on the internet to see if I was just missing the function or if it really couldn't do what I wanted.
1st, can't lock the perspective. Map rotates around car. I personally don't like that. I want the...

Good value
I have been very pleased with this GPS unit. I picked it up for $160. I particularly like the thin design and all controls on the touchscreen. The user interface could be better, but once you learn to use it you can enter destinations rather quickly. I also like the route options such as avoiding... Read full review »
It's ok for the price of this unit but lacks a lot of features
Got this gps and took it to north Carolina for a trip, however the gps was not able to find a few cities which was a major need at that time. the processor is not the fastest, specially when is on 3d mode, it refreshes the screen in 1.5 sec or so. rerouting can take a while as well if you miss your... map only has major streets
You can't use the Nav-Cam to find an address around here, because it doesn't know very many streets. My presumption is that this is the case everywhere. So, it's only useful for finding points of interest like airports and major shopping centers. When I asked it to route me to a gas station, it... Read full review »
The Worst GPS Ever?
I've seen/used numerous consumer GPS units before (Mio, TomTom, Garmin, and some other "no-name" brand), and this is BY FAR the WORST unit I've ever encountered. I picked this up because it seemed to be a good deal at $150, but I was way off. The features on this thing are horrible, it is... Read full review »
