Pros Inexpensive compared to BabyBjorn. Same features as BabyBjorn. Simple to use, comfortable...
Cons Not good for short distances Cannot reposition baby if baby is cranky
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the Snugli right after my baby was born. It is wonderful. The head support is useful for younger babies. The clips for fastening are confusing the first couple of times to the extent that we almost returned it. But once you get used to the clips, it is very good and very easy to get on and... Pros Great comfort, Easy to load & unload child, Durable, Stainproof
Cons The only con - If child's legs grow to fast, hard for mom to walk.
Recommended it? Yes

We received this as a baby gift for our son. I used it rarely with him and thought that it was somewhat a waste of money. He outgrew it too fast. But they we had our daughter. She loves it. It is comforable for me to carry her this way and I can do a lot more than any other carrier I have tried... Read full review »

Cons Hard to use, back killer, not comfortable for parent or child
Recommended it? No

I had always thought of buying a carrier when I had a baby, but I had never looked at them. When I had my son, I got this one as a gift. So I thought-great-now I don't have to buy one.
When my son was just a month or two, I thought I would try it out. I put him in it and found it to be really... Read full review »

Pros Inexpensive; easier to "load" baby and strap onto yourself
Cons Have to take sleeping baby out to transfer to car seat; sore back
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this carrier as an emergency when we forgot to pack our Infantino 6-in-1 Rider on a trip when our son was still a small infant. He really enjoyed being carried face-in when he was a newborn, and I was almost in tears when I discovered I'd forgotten to pack the Infantino (darn hormones)... Read full review »

Pros great for younger, smaller babies. good support, comfort.
Cons probably won't be usable past several months.
Recommended it? Yes

my baby is only 12 pounds so far, and i have been using this since she was only 7 pounds. i find that this carrier does a good job of keeping smaller, younger babies supported and comfortable. it gave me the chance to do some things around the house during "cranky times" when she wanted to be held. Pros Sturdy, Easy to Use
Cons Bad Design
Recommended it? No

This was the first baby carrier that I used. I picked it because it was affordable but was disappointed when it hurt my back so badly. It also was not the most supportive carrier for your little one. Read full review »

When we were having our second child I knew that I was going to need a baby carrier and I am so happy that I bought this one. I don't know how I had my first child without one.

After having a stroller fail on me, I needed a better way to transport around my new baby. I received this carrier as a gift and was skeptical on how well it would work. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to put on my baby and myself. I didn't even need assistance from anyone. My daughter... Read full review »

Pros Great for carrying baby but keeping your hands free.
Cons Can be tight and heavy with chunky babies.

We received this carrier as a shower gift. We used it a lot when our baby was just born. She loved to be carried and it let us do things around the house with free hands. We could go hiking and walking without a stroller. we really loved the freedom it gave us. As she got older and chunkier it was... Read full review »

Pros easy to use, comfortable, VERY useful
Cons hard to get baby out, material doesn't breathe well, baby outgrows it quickly
Recommended it? Yes

I received this as a baby shower gift. I love it. It was useful for helping my colicky/reflux baby to sleep and hold her close when shopping. The only drawbacks are that it is hard to get the bay out when sleeping and the baby outgrows it quickly. Read full review »
