Your child's safety isn't worth saving a few dollars.

Pros Inexpensive, small size
Cons Cheaply constructed, fell apart after only a few uses, unrealistic warranty
Recommended it? No

We purchased 2 of these seats to give to the grandparents for when my son came to visit them. Right out of the box, the seat pad wouldn't stay on the seat and slides around during use. I figured I could live with that since it was just a cheap seat anyway. After only 5 or 6 uses however, the clip... Read full review »

Pros I always liked the fact it was light weight and easy to use.
Cons Sliding and no head rest. The cushion could have had more padding
Recommended it? Yes

I was just looking through the websites to see if our Evenflo Right Fit booster seat was OK to use for my latest grandson who is a 43 pound 3 year old. He loves it, but with all the problems with car seats I thought I'd better check to see if it's still classified as a safe one. I purchased it new... Read full review »

Pros Small, convertible, easy to use and inexpensive.
Cons It should only be used in a car with high back seats.

Evenflo Rightfit is an excellent car booster for our family. We have three children that are all booster seat age and size. When I went to look for seats, I pick three Rightfits. At the time that I picked them out, I have to admit that I went for the small size and price.

Ouch

9 Helpfuls 10 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros It is lightweight and inexpensive.
Cons Seatbelt strap potentially hazardous if not used with black belt attachment.
Recommended it? No

This seat can be a literal PAIN. The seat cushion comes off almost right away and is flimsy and thin. If you don't use the little black safety belt all the time, which by the way never stays put on my seat, your child's neck could get cut from the regular car seatbelt if you stop quickly or are... for an occasional trip in grandma's car this was fine for my three yo, but i wouldn't use it for everyday use as she still falls asleep in the car and tips over which i feel compromises her safety. there are attachments for such car seats which give it a back and provides a headrest which would... This booster was provided by state patrol and a national retailer. The seat is very lightweight, easy install- but hard to use. The shoulder harness is difficult to manipulate. I had a hard time adjusting the bracket to the correct height and threadding the belt without leaving it twisted. I felt... Read full review »

I was four years old when my parents got divorced in 1976, and to wallow in (or celebrate) her unmarried status, my mother bought us a new family car-- a red Corvette. It was a two seater, so even at age four, I got to sit in the front. If we had another passenger, there was an easy solution... Read full review »

A Perfect Fit

Pros Easy to use, inexpensive, easy to clean.
Cons Can only be used with a standard lap/shoulder belt combination.

To ensure your child is the safest he or she can be in an automobile, we know that the back seat is the best place. We also know that small children and babies need to be in a child safety seat. But what if your child is too big for a 5-point car seat, but a regular car seat belt doesn't position... Read full review »

After a state DOT safety check I was _given_ this seat to replace a convertible seat my 3.75 year old was in. The seat is simple in design, easy to use, we've moved it from car to car quickly, and if my daughter is awake and not fidgety it's fine. The problem with this seat for me is that since... We used car seats faithfully for all the years of having my children. I have 4 of them. We went through new car seats for all of them as we were told that you should never buy a second hand car seat and never use one that has been in a accident.

For about a year we were letting my... Read full review »

I looked at this seat because my 8 yr. old son who, while 53" tall was only 53 pounds. We purchased this seat for our 8 y/o son. He weighs about 50 lbs, and is of average height for his age.
