Euro-Pro Shark IP750 Handheld Vacuum Is A Very Poor Value

byinkenheimer Jul 4, 2004

Pros Looks cool, if that matters to you. Compact storage for unit plus attachments.
Cons Poorly designed. Awkward to open and close. Very noisy.
Recommended it? No

Cumbersome, noisy, effective. Hard for a woman's hands to open and access the bag. Very difficult to open and close due to totally smooth styling, lack of plastic guides. Extender tubes have no locking mechanism, frequently fall off during use. Have to wear earplugs while using. Bag is small and... Read full review »

Powerful - for about 10 seconds

byeman7911 Jul 20, 2003
5 Helpfuls 6 Helpfuls Was this review helpful? Comment
Pros Three wand extensions and a variety of floor utensils similar to standard vacuums
Cons Full Battery strength is short lived.
Recommended it? No

I bought my Euro Pro Deluxe EP750 in December 2002 and at first I was very impressed by its cleaning power. Soon however I learned that the battery loses its power rather quickly and you can here the motor rev down as the battery power weakens rapidly. Use of the wand extensions won't allow you to... Poor Product

4 Helpfuls 5 Helpfuls Was this review helpful? Comment
Pros Good attachments
Cons Poor quality
Recommended it? No

I researched handheld vacuums before I purchased and this one was praised for its sucking power. I was very pleased with it for a while. I used it exclusively to clean furniture a few times a month and it died after we had it for a year. I guess I expected it to last longer seeing as it wasn't... Read full review »

Pros not many
Cons Well, it doesn't work. Replacment parts also don't work.
Recommended it? No

I have the Shark handheld vacuum EP750ST and EP750M. Both lost battery altogether after less than 1 year. I then spent $20 each for replacment batteries from Euro-Pro website but the new ones don't work either. It is expensive and very very pooor quality. Don't buy Euro-Pro products if they are all... Pros it worked for a few months
Cons crappy product. buy some other brand
Recommended it? No

This product was great right up until the battery gave out after just a few months of occassional use (twice a week or so). Now it can't hold a charge for even ten seconds and has zero suction. Read full review »

Pros Overall design and tools are a great idea
Cons Battery life & recharging is terrible & capacity is poor...loses power quickly
Recommended it? No

I bought my shark to replace a trusty & still working DustBuster which I took to use in my office. I thought the Euro-Pro Shark was a great innovation. I got it at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I live in a large studio apt. and got the Shark because it is cordless and I thought it would be (like my... Read full review »

Pros Good dirt suction.
Cons No battery life. No corded function. Expensive Keyboard vac.
Recommended it? No

Ok. It sucks dirt like crazy. but for about ten minutes. then you have to charge it. 16-24 hours. That would be fine if you could run it off the cord. Most times you need the cordless function is for short jobs. I wanna vacuum my tiny bedroom. It can't handle it. Read full review »

Pros The power of the motor
Cons Very poor battery Not easy or cost-effective to replace the battery
Recommended it? No

I've owned a lot of products with rechargable batteries, including 2 other cordless vacuum cleaners, so I'm used to following the directions for prolonged battery life. When I first bought the Shark EP750, I was attracted by it's power and the variety of attachments, but despite proper recharging,... Read full review »

Disposal vacuum cleaner

Pros Good for the first week.
Cons Bad after the first week.
Recommended it? No

I agree with a previous comment, that $60 is too much for a disposal vacuum cleaner. Probably lasted about 3-4 months. I was online searching for battery replacements, but after reading the other reviews, I'll just toss mine in the trash and call it quits with Euro-Pro. Don't buy. Read full review »

Euro-Pro Shark EP750 ST

This worked for about a month, then stopped holding a charge, and when I called customer support, they would replace the battery but I would have to pay shipping.

$70 paper weight!
