Great vacuum for the money! Simply put!
I got this vacuum for my other place which has only one large room of carpet and really, I got it for all the wrong reasons, but was pleasantly surprised. I got it because it looked cool and was to be in a corner of the room, so I didnt want an ugly vacuum.

It was wonderful at first but now it's loud
I had this vacuum for about eight months and just loved it but all of a sudden it went from that nice luxurious quality sounding hum to a harsh loud sound. I hate the noise! I bought the Eureka because it comes with a fine pedigree - I think. It's true...one gets what one pays for!
By specifications and appearance the Eureka 4870 series vacuum seemed to be a great value at $175. The machine has been in our house now for three weeks.
