I bought the Eureka 96 "Boss Lite" Cordless Vac after I killed my beloved Hoover lightweight vac by accidentally feeding it a metal screw. It works well on dog hair and crumbs on bare floors. Don't know about it on carpet because the dog doesn't go on the carpet.
