Kept me out of trouble. . . most of the time.
This radar detector does the trick. I went 3 years without getting a ticket and the gps block was great for blocking signals from automatic doors and alarm systems. One drawback, and I don't believe there is a fix out there, is that it can not forewarn you about Laser tagging. The buzzer goes nuts... Read full review »
high priced radar detector, but not so effective in warning
this product is a great product for the older radar systems, but with the new KA and laser systems it is very difficult for a detector to sense this until its too late most of the time, even with this product. It is a Little on the expensive side but it is worth the speeding tickets that it will save you
I had the 8500x and recently purchased this one 9500ix works with the gps and it actually learns the locations
and false alarms a must have if you drive a lot and like to speed.
